The Academy will identify research projects of environmental law that require further study, such as research into the conceptual developments needed to leverage environmental law toward greater effectiveness. The Academy encourages the study of these priority issues, with the publication of such studies, through the university members of the Academy, or individual scholars.
A research agenda is being prepared in consultation with the IUCN Environmental Law Program and in collaboration with Academy members and founders institutions.
