The IUCN Academy of Environmental Law is pleased to announce the appointment of Carolyn Farquhar as Manager of the Secretariat at the Faculty of Law, University of Ottawa, effective November 1st, 2007.
Carolyn was director of research and executive networks at The Conference Board of Canada and has worked extensively with private and public sector organizations. She brings with her a broad experience in business development and working with multiple stakeholders as well as in business management. Carolyn has a Bachelor of Arts (honours) and an MBA from Queen’s University and has recently studied at the University of Ottawa. Carolyn’s immediate responsibilities will centre on fundraising and strategic development as well as membership liaison and member services.
