Essential Readings in Environmental Law
IUCN Academy of Environmental Law (www.iucnael.org)

Essential Readings in Environmental Law is a project of the IUCN Academy of Environmental Law intended to support teaching and capacity building in the broad field of environmental law. The collection gathers personal recommendations from a wide range of specialists in various fields of environmental law. Each individual contributor has selected about a dozen essential readings and commented briefly on their importance.

View our list of topics and contributors in pfd format.

Proposals for further contributions to the Essential Readings in Environmental Law series may be sent to the General Editors of the Series, Professors Jamie Benidickson (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) and Yves Le Bouthillier (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).

The Academy would like to thank all contributors for taking time from their busy teaching and research schedules to share their recommendations with Academy members, students of environmental law, practitioners and members of the general public who are interested in environmental issues.

The Academy would like to especially thank the Law Foundation of Ontario for its financial support of this important project.
