The European Position Towards Copenhagen: A Global Outlook
The Governing Board of the IUCN Academy held its Board meeting at Maastricht University on May 22-23, 2009. Just prior to that meeting, we convened an Environmental Law Expert Meeting - May 20, 2009. The theme of the meeting was "The European Position Towards Copenhagen: A Global Outlook" A world-wide team of environmental law professors provided perspectives from their regions on the current position of the EU towards strengthening international climate policy.
