Climate Law Teaching Resources
The IUCN Academy is working with members to develop a set of resources on Climate Law Teaching. As one important element of environmental law, we are drawing together a number of useful resources on climate law teaching. We hope to add to this repository of material and resources over the coming months.
There are several sets of material on the site, starting with a repository of course syllabi. These syllabi, indexed by their author, provide a range of materials that have used in teaching climate change law and policy. This initiative has been led by Dr. Wil Burns (Williams College, USA) and Professor Don Anton of Australian National University College of Law, Canberra. We now have close to 40 syllabi and encourage you to review them. We would also be very pleased to receive course syllabi on climate law from any of our members and these can be forwarded to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. The site will be expanded to include materials that have been used in classroom climate change simulations, Power Point slides that can be used in lectures and public presentations, and pertinent lecture materials.
We have also included a link to a new blog that has been launched on Teaching Climate Change Law and Policy, www.teachingclimatelaw.org. Over time, we will be able to add additional links to these kinds of resources.
