The Law School’s Asia-Pacific Centre for Environmental Law (APCEL) is celebrating its 20th Anniversary, together with the M.Sc. (Environmental Management) [MEM] program’s 15th Anniversary, and the Bachelor in Environmental Studies (BES) program’s 5th Anniversary. The celebration kicks off with a conference Nov. 9 -11th focussing on the Sustainable Development Goals DGs 12-15, culminating in the 4th Asia Environment Lecture. The Indigenous Knowledge Forum at the University of Technology Sydney will host a Roundtable on Wednesday 14 December 2016 on the theme of Indigenous Knowledge: Governance Systems for Data Management and Benefit Sharing. The deadline for abstract submissions is 11 November 2016 however decisions to accept abstracts will be on a rolling basis up to a maximum of 16. The Call for Abstracts can be found here

The Chinese Journal of Environmental Law (Qin Tianbao and Ben Boer, eds.) is seeking submissions (research articles 6,000 – 10,000 words; Country reports/notes 2,000 to 7,000 words; book reviews 750 to 2,000 words) on environmental issues concerning China, the Asian region and the developing world.
