I would like to draw your attention to a new book “Presumed Incompetent: The Intersections of Race and Class for Women in Academia” co-edited by Professors Gabriella Gutiérrez y Muhs, Yolanda Flores Niemann, Carmen G. Gonzalez and Angela P. Harris on the experiences of women faculty of color which was published by the Utah State University Press. The book features personal narratives, qualitative empirical studies and scholarly essays on the experiences of women faculty of color in a variety of academic disciplines. More than 40 different authors contributed to the book.
