The Law School of the Universidad Científica del Sur (Científica) is proud to host the 22nd Annual Colloquium of the IUCN Academy of Environmental Law on 1 - 4 July 2025 in Lima, Peru.

 

We invite abstract submissions for papers presentation at the Colloquium by 12 February 2025.

 

The theme of the 22nd Colloquium is SDGs and Environmental Law: Achievements and Challenges after a Decade of Creation. Coming on a decade since the creation of the SDGs, it is critical to assess how these goals have influenced legal policies and practices worldwide, identify the achievements made, and recognize persistent challenges that require urgent attention. This evaluation is essential to redirect efforts, adapt strategies, and strengthen the international legal framework to pursue a more sustainable and just future.
