'Pro Natura', a festschrift in homage to professor Hans Christian Bugge
The publishing house Universitetsforlaget is proud to present 'Pro Natura', a festschrift in homage to professor Hans Christian Bugge; to be presented to him on his 70th birthday March 2nd, 2012.Hans Christian Bugge has played a key role in developing environmental law as a legal discipline in Norway. His experience ranges over a wide area, including high ranking positions in the government, non-governmental organizations, and academia. Outside of Norway he is best known as secretary to Gro Harlem Brundtland when she headed the United Nations World Commission on Environment and Development in preparing 'Our Common Future', also known as the Brundtland Report.
The book, which reflects Hans Christian Bugge's commitment to a sustainable future, has 40 contributors from Norway and abroad. It contains 16 contributions written in English. Please click here for details/table of content.
